Organically grown, a small red bean originally from Asia, rich in color with pleasing texture and flavor.
Easiest to digest of all beans. A highly regarded and strengthening bean in macrobiotics and traditional Japanese culture. Rich in dietary fiber and folate, fat and sodium free and a good source of potassium. The skin of Azuki beans contain saponin, which is effective for promoting circulation of blood.
