Mung Beans known also as green beans, mash beans and green soy. Mung beans are tropical corps, and require warm temperatures (30 – 35?c) Ground beans may be used in a variety of ways, including making noodle and fried cake. One of the most popular use of Mung beans is for sprouting. The Sprouts contain vitamin c that is not found in the bean. The sprouts are used when they are about 2 inches long. They may be eaten raw or lightly boiled.
